Navigating Conversations

Let us guide you through navigating conversations effectively in Emitrr. Let's explore the different aspects and tools available to manage your conversations:



1. All Locations

  • Viewing All Locations: Click on "All Locations" on the left-hand side to see conversations across all locations within your account. This is useful for accounts with multiple locations.

3. Location-Specific Filtering

  • Filter by Location: Click on a particular location to filter conversations specific to that location only. This helps in managing conversations based on location and operational divisions.

4. Conversation Views

  • All Conversations: Navigate to see all conversations across your account.
  • My Conversations: View conversations assigned to your user within the account.
  • Unassigned Conversations: Access conversations that are not assigned to any user in your account.

5. Activity and Task Management

  • Appointment Confirmations: Available for accounts integrated with CRM systems, view appointment confirmations under the Activity section.
  • Task Management: Create tasks and assign them to team members or teams. Track tasks based on their status (open, completed, etc.).

6. Teams and Team Folders

  • Teams Folder: Conversations assigned to specific teams are organized under respective team folders. Manage team-specific interactions efficiently.

7. Individual Folders

  • Folder Organization: Create and categorize conversations into different folders for better organization and management.

8. Team Messaging

  • Group Messages: Collaborate with team members by sending group messages. This allows for collective communication within specific teams.

  • Direct Messages: Communicate directly with individual team members using direct messages.

Please note that Team messaging is an internal feature and the messages sent to your team members will not cost you credits.

9. Filters and Sorting

  • Filtering Conversations: Use filters to view conversations based on criteria such as Filter by 
  1. Responded conversations
  2. Dispositions
  3. Campaigns 
  4. Assignment

  • Sorting Options: Arrange conversations by newest or oldest to prioritize recent or historical interactions. You can now sort the open conversations using the following filters, you can apply them on Open and closed status as well.
    1. Newest - The time and date of the most recent text will be used to sort conversations.
    2. Oldest - The oldest conversation in the queue
    3. Waiting longest - The conversations that haven't been replied to. This will take into account the conversations that followed the feature's deployment on January 2.

    Under the Waiting longest filter, you will see the following labels;
    1. First response due - This is for the new conversations where there is an incoming message but there is no outgoing text.
    2. Response due - For the conversations in which there is a latest text and the response is yet to be sent.

10. Bulk Actions

You can efficiently manage multiple conversations using bulk actions in Emitrr.

1. Accessing Bulk Actions

  • Selecting Conversations: Instead of managing each conversation individually, you can perform actions on multiple conversations simultaneously.
  • Checkbox Selection: Hover over the message icon of each conversation. A checkbox will appear. Select the checkboxes of the conversations you want to manage.

2. Available Bulk Actions

  • Mark as Read/Unread: Choose to mark selected conversations as read or unread to manage their status.
  • Close Conversations: Close multiple conversations at once to indicate their completion or resolution.
  • Three Vertical Dots: Click on the three vertical dots icon to access additional bulk actions:
    • Block Contacts: Block all contacts associated with the selected conversations.
    • Assign Conversations: Assign selected conversations to a specific user within your team.
    • Add to Folder: Categorize selected conversations by adding them to a designated folder for better organization.
    • Add to List: Categorize selected conversations by adding them to an existing list.
