Introduction

In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to create and send email campaigns using Emitrr. The process involves verifying your domain, setting up your email address, and building your email campaign. Follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1: Verify Your Domain

  1. Log in to Emitrr: Access your Emitrr dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Domain Verification: Before you can send email campaigns, you need to verify your domain.

  3. Add CNAME Records: Add the required CNAME records to your DNS. You can find these records in the domain verification section.

    • Once all three CNAME records are added, the status will change to 'Valid'.

Step 2: Set Up Your Email Address

  1. Add Email Address: After domain verification, add your email address under the domain settings. This will be the sender address for your campaigns.

  2. Confirm Email Address: Ensure the email address you add is the one where you want to receive replies.

Step 3: Create an Email Campaign

  1. Navigate to Email Campaigns: Go to the email campaigns section on your Emitrr dashboard.

  2. Create New Campaign: Click on 'Create New Campaign'.

  3. Select Template: You can choose from various templates or start with a blank template.

    • Example: Select a blank template, name your campaign (e.g., Test Campaign), and click to proceed.

Step 4: Build Your Email

  1. Campaign Name: Give your campaign a relevant name (e.g., Test Campaign).

  2. Location Selection: Choose the location where you verified the domain.

    • The email address you added under settings will automatically populate here.

  3. Add Content:

    • Heading: Add a strong heading to your email.

    • Text Options: Customize your text with options like bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, hyperlink, etc.

    • Hyperlink Example: To hyperlink text, select the text, click on the link option, enter the URL, and set it to open in a new tab.

    • Change Fonts and Colors: Adjust font style, size, color, and alignment as needed.

Step 5: Advanced Options

  1. Add Columns: You can insert columns to structure your email content.

  2. Buttons: Add buttons with URLs to navigate users to specific pages. Customize the button text, background color, and text color.

  3. Dividers: Insert dividers to segment sections of your email.

  4. HTML Code: If needed, embed HTML code to add custom elements.

  5. Menu: Add a menu with multiple items, each linking to different pages. Name the menu items (e.g., Sign Up, Demo) and set their URLs.

Step 6: Preview and Save

  1. Preview Email: Use the preview option to see how your email looks on both desktop and mobile views.

  2. Save and Continue: Save your progress and continue to the next step.

Step 7: Select Recipients

  1. Select List: Choose a list of recipients from your existing contacts.

  2. Select Contacts: Alternatively, select specific contacts you want to send the email to.

    • Ensure the email addresses are correctly added to your contacts.

Step 8: Schedule or Send

  1. Send Immediately or Schedule: You can send the email immediately or schedule it for a later time.

  2. Save and Close: You can save your campaign and revisit it later if needed.

Step 9: Duplicate Campaign (Optional)

  1. Duplicate Campaign: If you need to create a similar campaign, you can duplicate an existing one.
