How to Access and Understand Metrics on Emitrr

Welcome to Emitrr's guide on accessing and interpreting your message metrics. This article will walk you through the steps to view and understand the metrics for your Metrics page, including how to analyze message data by day, week, or month.

Accessing the Metrics Page

  1. Navigate to the Metrics Page:

    • On the left-hand side of the dashboard, locate and click on the option labeled "Metrics."

  2. Select a Location:

    • After selecting Metrics, you will be prompted to choose a location. Select the desired location to view its specific metrics.

Understanding the Metrics

  • Default View:

    • By default, the metrics will display data for the current day. You can view various metrics for different time periods by adjusting the settings.

Changing Time Periods:

  • Daily Metrics: Shows metrics for the selected day, including the number of outbound and inbound messages.

  • Weekly Metrics: Displays the number of outbound messages sent and inbound messages received for each day of the week.

  • Monthly Metrics: Provides a summary of total messages for the month, including both inbound and outbound messages. The monthly view also distinguishes between inbound and outbound messages.

Account Credits:

  • Please note that account credits are only applied to outbound messages, not inbound messages.

Automated Messages:

  • Metrics for automated messages are also available and can be reviewed similarly.


On the Metrics page, you can view data for the following categories: Texting Usage, Missed Calls, Reviews, VOIP Usage, and Team Performance. Each category can be analyzed over different time periods: daily, weekly, or monthly.

  1. Texting Usage:

    • Daily Metrics: Displays the number of outbound and inbound messages sent and received for the selected day.

    • Weekly Metrics: This shows the volume of outbound messages sent and inbound messages received for each day of the week.

    • Monthly Metrics: Provides a summary of total outbound and inbound messages for the month. Outbound messages are considered for account credits.

  2. Missed Calls:

    • Daily Metrics: Indicates the number of missed calls for the selected day.

    • Weekly Metrics: Summarizes missed calls for each day of the week.

    • Monthly Metrics: This shows the total number of missed calls for the month.

  3. Reviews:

    • Daily Metrics: Shows the number of reviews received each day.

    • Weekly Metrics: Provides a summary of reviews collected throughout the week.

    • Monthly Metrics: Offers a total count of reviews for the month.

  4. VOIP Usage:

    • Daily Metrics: Displays VOIP call activity and usage for the selected day.

    • Weekly Metrics: Summarizes VOIP usage for each day of the week.

    • Monthly Metrics: Provides a total for VOIP call activity throughout the month.

  5. Team Performance:

    • Daily Metrics: Shows individual response times for team members on the selected day.

    • Weekly Metrics: Provides a performance summary for each team member over the week.

    • Monthly Metrics: Summarizes team performance metrics for the entire month.

Custom Date Ranges

You can select a specific date range to view metrics for that period, allowing for detailed analysis of message usage and performance over your desired timeframe.
