Understanding Default Options in Emitrr

We will delve into the default options available in Emitrr, empowering you to customize and streamline your messaging experience efficiently.

1. Return/Enter Key Behavior

The Return/Enter Key Behavior feature allows you to define the action taken when you press the Enter key while composing messages. Here’s how you can configure it:

  • Navigate to Settings or Preferences in your Emitrr dashboard.
  • Look for the Return/Enter Key Behavior section.
  • Choose from the following options:
  • Send & Close: Sends the message and closes the conversation.
  • Send: Sends the message without closing the conversation.
  • New Line: Inserts a new line in the message instead of sending it.

Select the option that suits your workflow best. This customization ensures your messaging process aligns with your preferences.

2. Team Auto Assign

Team Auto Assign simplifies conversation management by automatically assigning conversations to the team associated with the user who replied in the conversation. Here’s how to enable it:

  • Navigate to Settings > Team Settings.
  • Locate the Team Auto Assign option and toggle it on.
  • Once enabled, any reply from a team member will assign the conversation to their respective team.
  • This feature optimizes team collaboration and ensures prompt handling of customer inquiries.

3. Member Auto Assign

Member Auto Assign automates the assignment of conversations to individual team members based on who replies. Follow these steps to set it up:

  • In Settings > User Settings, find the Member Auto Assign option and enable it.
  • Upon activation, each reply by a user will automatically assign the conversation to that specific user.

This feature enhances personal accountability and ensures efficient management of individual workloads.

4. Custom Signature

Custom Signature allows users to personalize their messages by appending a predefined signature to every outgoing message. Here’s how to configure it:

  • Go to Settings > Personalization Settings.
  • Locate the Custom Signature section.
  • Enter your desired signature text. This could include your name, title, contact information, or any other relevant details.
  • Note that characters in the signature contribute to message length and affect credit usage.

By setting up a custom signature, you streamline communication branding and provide consistent information across all interactions.

Utilizing Emitrr’s default options enhances user experience and operational efficiency. Whether customizing Return/Enter Key behavior, automating assignments with Team or Member Auto Assign, or personalizing messages with a Custom Signature, these features empower you to optimize workflow and maintain consistency in communication.
