Internal Notes in Emitrr are designed to facilitate internal communication within your team. Unlike regular messages that are sent to the end user, internal notes remain within the system for team reference and collaboration. Here’s how to utilize this feature effectively:

1. Adding an Internal Note

  • To add an internal note, navigate to the conversation or message thread where you want to leave a note.
  • Look for the option labeled "Note" above the text box in the conversation
  • Similar to the text, you can add text to the Note. 
  • A text box will appear where you can type your note. Feel free to include any relevant information or updates that your team members need to know and Click on send. 
  • Optionally, you can attach files or documents by using the attachment icon next to the text box. This allows you to share supplementary materials along with your notes.

2. Editing and Deleting Internal Notes

  • If you need to modify an existing internal note, simply locate the note within the conversation.
  • Click on the edit note icon to open it for editing.
  • Make your changes directly within the text box and save your edits.
  • To delete an internal note, find the note you wish to remove.
  • the Click on delete icon next to the edit note icon.
  • Select "Delete" and confirm the action when prompted.
